Pine and Sound
Enter, Walk, Listen expresses the artist's concerns about the appreciation
and preservation of nature. It consists of a spiral forest path defined by
eighty-five 8' to 10' tall sculpted trees. As viewers "enter" the forest and
"walk" the spiral tree-lined forest path, much like the "walking meditations"
provided by labyrinths in medieval cathedrals, they will soon "listen" to the
sounds of water and forest creatures in a hidden glade.
